Davis tries to attack Wallace's left arm. Wallace alertly defends the attack and moves back to half-guard. Scramble up, and Davis controls the head. Wallace drops to a knee, and Davis knees the body.Two minutes remain. Davis pushing in and delivering short punches from the top.Davis trying to set up a kimura. Wallace showing great strength in defending. Davis slides out of the half-giard and moves into side control. He goes to north-south briefly, then advances all the way to mount. Left leg steps over the right arm, and Wallace fires bigger shots. Wallace trapped, but the bell saves him. Another round for Davis on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9

Wallace fires off another kick. Davis lands a right to the chin and baks away. Davis leaps in with a knee that glances off as he moves into the clinch. Wallace drops and rolls for a leg, but Davis just steps out of it and works into side control. Davis goes to work on the arm again. Wallace again steadfast in defends, but he allows Davis to mount. Quick scramble, and Wallace escapes to the feet. Davis stays right, clinches the body and trips Wallace to the mat. Half-mount for Davis as he again looks for the arm. It's not there, but it again allows Davis to mount. Davis locks in a kimura grip and jumps out the side, but he can't finish. Familiar routine. Davis moves to mount, then pulls away and stands. Fight ends there. Dominant work from Davis, and MMAjunkie.com sees the round for him, 10-9, as well as the fight, 30-27. Will probably be disappointed he couldn't finish, but control was overwhelming. Phil Davis def. Rodney Wallace via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27).
