Camozzi works to his knees, and Yang tries to take the back.Camozzi feels the moves and reverses the position. Camozzi on top, but he returns to the feet, and Yang follows. Camozzi kicks to the body. Yang punches over the top. Camozzi lands a nice right hand that seems to stun Yang. Camozzi grabs a Thai clinch and delivers a knee before Yang pushes him away. More lead rights by Camozzi. Yang lands a nice two-punch combination, but Camozzi fires right back.Yang takes a second to tug at his knee pads. Both fighters have their mouths wide open, but Yang is moving straight in, and Camozzi is capitalizing on the lack of angles. That said, Camozzi walks into a straight that snaps his head back. Close round, but MMAjunkie.com sees it for Camozzi, 10-9, based on the more effective strikes. Very close. He pulls away from the clinch after a stalemate. On he restart, Yang finds a home for a few straight punches. Camozzi scampers away after eating a few to the chin. Halfway in. Yang pushing in with more frequency. Camozzi settling for kicks that aren't doing much damage. Camozzi does fire a knee into the body, and he secures a bodylock while pushing Yang into the cage. Can't capitalize, and Yang pulls away. Camozzi really seems to be hunting for the Thai clinch. Camozzi does land a knee, but Yang lands a straight punch up top. Camozzi telegraphs a shot, but Yang sprawls out. Both fighters settling for single striking attacks. Camozzi tries to rush in during the closing seconds, but Yang lands the counter.
