Mark Hunt vs. Melvin Manhoef no K-1 Dynamite

O francês Jerome Le Banner não irá lutar mais contra Mark Hunt no K-1 Dynamite no dia 31 de dezembro.

Seu substituto será Melvin Manhoef.

Just one day prior to the 19-fight-marathon FieLDS Dynamite!! 2008 event, Fight Entertainment Group has been forced into a last-second card change.

K-1 kickboxing legend Jerome LeBanner (3-1-1 MMA) is reportedly suffering from the flu and has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Mark Hunt (5-4).

Dutch slugger Melvin Manhoef (22-5-1) has stepped up to fill the void on absolute last-minute notice. The change was announced today on DREAM's official website.

PRIDE and DREAM veteran Hunt will carry a significant weight advantage into the bout. The New Zealand native has suffered three-straight submission losses to Alistair Overeem, Fedor Emelianenko and Josh Barnett. Prior to his current skid, the 34-year-old had won five straight bouts over competition that included Tsuyoshi Kohsaka, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic and Wanderlei Silva.

Manhoef was last in action in a submission loss to Gegard Mousasi at the DREAM middleweight grand prix finals in September. Prior to the loss, Manhoef had won five straight bouts by knockout or TKO. The hard-hitting Manhoef has 21 career knockout or TKO stoppages in his 22 career wins.

After potential deals fell through between FEG and HDNet for a television broadcast -- and with Event Magic.tv for a possible internet stream -- the event will not be broadcast live in the U.S.

eu acho que o manhoef vai vence.... luta de mais.... e como não vai luta contra um finalizador vai ser mais facil pra ele, a luta vai fica só em pé...
