Pessoal, como se chama mesmo aquela técnica de levantar usando a grade muito usando pelo Liddell por exemplo? É para usar em um texto, se tiver link da explicação facilita mais ainda, rsrs.

Fernando acabei ficando curioso e fiz uma pesquisa no google mais ou menos assim: chuck liddell technic cage walk, e achei umas coisas interessantes:

Liddell didn't just use his background as a Division 1 college wrestler to stay on his feet either, he also pioneered the techniques of cage walking back to his feet virtually anytime he was taken down. At his best, Chuck Liddell presented a virtually impossible dilemma for other MMA fighters -- exhaust yourself trying to take him down or take your chances on the feet against a very dangerous KO artist.

Jones is just better than Liddell at so many things. He's less predictible in the stand-up, has better throws and takedowns, has used more technical submissions, has more damaging ground-and-pound, and simply has a bigger frame that would make Liddell's counter-striking style much less useful. Liddell showed more knockout power in his fists and might have had better takedown defense (though I can't remember anyone taking Jones down yet...) but that's about it. His strategy in his prime relied on his opponent to try to close the distance; he'd then move off at an angle and catch them with a lead hook, rear overhand, or rear straight punch. I think Jones' reach and arsenal, including his spinning moves, would throw off Liddell's game. Jones has taken down pretty much everyone he's wanted to so far, including far more decorated wrestlers than Liddell (he had Bader, a two-time NCAA champ, pulling half-guard) and Liddell's famous cage-walk, which help him recover when he was taken down in the UFC, wouldn't be there in the Pride boxing-style ring.

I'm calling Jones by TKO (punches) at about the three-minute mark.
